back and oh boy
- my actuarial professor just made our first assignment How To Be A Landlord
- had a few lovely panic attacks from sensory overload
- went to a seminar on studying on the spectrum and it actually helped a lot
- realised the number of hours that i work seems to be far fewer than recommended but i legit cannot work longer bc of accumulated anxiety or whatever tf it is
- apparently my consistent chest pain?? is possibly from reflux???
- in conclusion i have many physical and mental ailments that i do not trust my family with and i despise being an adult
- on the upside my studying is much better and im not missing assignments lol

Has this been a regular ongoing issue, I know it may seem not the right time but consider visiting your local GP?
I mean for the chest pain and reflux, just to check if there's something internally not doing what its supposed to.
I feel you with the anxiety I couldn't keep up with the load last sem and struggled and had regular panic attacks, I think taking frequent breaks and planning your schedule ahead of time to ensure you assign extra time to complete the tasks you need to.
i.e. you have to watch two 1 hour lectures (i'm not in comm so im not sure if this will apply)
I will give myself 1h 30 mins to watch the lecture, and write summary notes based on the learning objective
Take a reasonable break, 15-30 mins
And then repeat for the next lecture
Consistency is key :)

Great to hear your studying is improving and that the seminar was a positive experience Wes! Hope everything's going fine rn, what with lockdown 2.0 and all. Also hopefully there's a way to remove whatever triggered the sensory overload, just the idea of a panic attack sounds rough as well as the accumulated anxiety. Might want to see someone about it, like a GP you trust?
