Ah, completely different, my bad.

In that case, unless your cousin is doing an engineering course that didn't require methods, his point is moot. If his course required methods, then of course you'd fail it if you hadn't done methods - it was assumed knowledge.

However, you'll likely find that the RMIT course I listed will accept you without methods because they'll teach you that content in your first year and bring you up to speed. In which case, you'll still be able to do well

Let's just ignore the fact that this was one of my first suggestions to you - but also not even what angrybiscuit was suggesting to you?

What is the reason that your school won't let you do 3/4 methods?

Although I broadly disagree with schools not allowing students to subjects given the main reason behind this is usually to inflate their own rankings, median study scores and reputation. There has been an abundance of alternatives proposed to you in order to get your where you want in this thread without methods. So even if you are going to continue pushing hard for methods 3/4 with your school try to consider some of the alternatives given to you as a backup. Even if it takes you an extra 1-2 years that is really nothing in the grand scheme of things and could even be beneficial.

The same reason why any other school won't let their students do methods, my grades in unit 1/2 are barely passing  :(
I agree with you, it is wrong to stop them from doing methods especially if they really need to. I just don't understand why my school has to be like this to me. I feel bad for all my classmates as well especially some who cried because they did not get recommended by the school.......
