I’m so stressed I’m very stressed, I’m wanting to do a uni extension in year 13 but whilst I was reading the uni extension requirements I need for Deakin, 65% average... I’m doing 6 subjects 4 of my subjects are like 70 to 80
The other 2 are below 65 am I still eligible...

Please lemme answer my question I’m overthinking

I mean, 65% average might not mean 65% in all subjects. For example, if the other two subjects are 60%, then maybe your average is:

(60+60+70+70+70+70)/6 = 66%

Which would make you still eligible. The only people who know for certain are Deakin, so it's still worth applying and seeing what happens

This is what the website says

“ achieve an average of at least 65% across your Year 11 subjects.”

Yes, but what I'm saying is that there's multiple ways to interpret the statement. If we interpret it the way you have, that all subjects need to have more than 65%, then no, you won't get in

BUT, if you interpret it the way you have (where you add up all the marks you have for your subjects and divide by the number of subjects), then you might still be fine and have that 65% average. This is the way I think it should be interpreted, too

Either way, worrying about it won't solve anything. I get that anxiety is shit and hard to push through, but if you let that anxiety stop you from applying, you DEFINITELY won't get in. If you apply anyway, there's still a chance you can get in. Maybe you won't - maybe Deakin meant the statement to be interpreted the way you have. But you don't know that for certain, and neither do I, and neither does anyone else here. All you can do is apply anyway, and hope for the best

I would say you are still eligible and have a shot of getting accepted.
