Also what do you guys see your self working as in the future? Is your degree a stepping stone? Or more of an opportunity to see what you’d like (like me :D)

Feel free to comment below :))))

I finally sent off mine a few days ago, and I may move some around, but generally this is what I ended up with:

1) UniMelb - BSci - Hoping to do the food science major.
2) Monash- BSci - Backup in case I don't get a good methods score, but would be happy to major in Chem.
3) Monash- PharmaSci - I just love chem + bio and good old product development.
4) Monash - Arts- Backup if I need to transfer into BSci.
5) RMIT - PharmSci - May switch this with the BA.
6) Monash - Nutrition science.
7) RMIT - Food Technology and Buisman
8 )RMIT- Food Technology and Nutrition - food tech stream.

As you can see they are mainly based around food science as that is my key interest. However, I still want flexibility, as I can always change my mind, and I want that as an option, which is why two BSci's are at the top. For me, I see myself working in either the food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medicine (still keeping that pathway open), product development, or government regulation. It would probably still require a masters, which i'm okay with doing. But I think overall I see my degree as an opportunity and a stepping stone into a career I enjoy (anything with Chem and Bio :)), and one that can take me places, whether that is in Australia or overseas.

What are your preferences?

I've put nursing as my first preference, with the intention of doing Paramedicine as honours as there is a lot fo overlap from nursing to paramedicine but not a HUGE overlap between paramedicne and nursing. ie. Nursing +Paramed honours takes 4 years but Paramedicince +Nursing honours takes 5(?) years.
My goal is ultimatley to get into Ambulance Vic as a paramedic

1. Nursing (Monash University, Peninsula)
2. Paramedicine (Monash University, Peninsula)
3. Nursing/Paramedicine (Australian Catholic University, Ballarat)
4. Paramedicine (Australian Catholic University, Melbourne)

The Cat In The Hat:
1) Nursing/Midwifery @ Deakin
2) Nursing @ Deakin
3) Nursing @ Monash

I want to be a nurse. Preferably both nurse and midwife. The degree is simply a way to get into the skills/jobs I want to do: nursing and midwifery. :D
