Was 2017 VCAA exam 1 an easy exam?

I’m horrible at methods and literally fail all the sacS and get around 45% in company exams and exams from last study designs. I’ve been trying to improve and on this exam I got 66%  :o even with my usual silly mistakes. I was just wondering was this a really easy year/exam?

I refuse to believe I’ve finally made a break through with methods. Or maybe I have?

I don't think the 2017 exam was particularly easy (although not the hardest). The A+ cutoff was 34.5/40 and the average was just under 50%.
