Monash Guarantee Emails (2020)

Hi everyone- I’ve been seeing some people have already received their Monash Guarantee emails? Is this true? Has anyone applied for SEAS and not received it?
I’m worried because I haven’t received an email (I checked the promotions tab and spam) yet I provided evidence of financial disadvantage + live in a low socioeconomic area.  :-\

My brother (who is in yr 12) hasn't received the email yet, and he's eligible for low socioeconomic area (I was eligible back in 2018) as well for medical condition + difficult circumstances.
Maybe they're releasing emails slowly, he's eagerly waiting for his as well
Don't stress I'm sure it will come eventually, it's quite early for them to come out now (I got my email on Dec 10th back in 2018, so it is quite strange for them to come so early!)
Not sure how reliable your source is but I would wait patiently and focus on your exams

Agreed. I remember that they usually come close to ATAR Release and/or near the Christmas period. Add in the pandemic this year and I doubt it will come any earlier than December. I also wouldn’t be surprised if it even comes in early January due to the pandemic.

There have been strange years previously where some institutes e.g. Melbourne Uni, were really late at sending students Access Melbourne/ SEAS emails as well, so it’s not a huge surprise that it’ll take a while yet.

I’d recommend putting this on the back burner for now and try to do as best as you can for your exams instead. :)

Are they the ones that tell you you've been guaranteed a scholarship at Monash?
