Taking spesh units 3/4 twice?

I overheard someone in my spesh class a couple weeks ago talking about how they were doing a subject (i think it was greek) outside of school, however they were only doing 4 subjects at the school and you're required to do 5 at our school, and for some reason the school allowed her to taking specialist maths twice. She said she'll have 6 classes of spesh in total, and both classes will count towards her aggregate... i feel like this is pretty unfair, considering she'll essentially be able to have twice the practice, and'll be able to do SACs twice which could essentially allow her to exploit this and cheat on the SACs/exams, and the fact that she can basically get two really good study scores from only studying hard for one subject??? or is this somehow a fair and common thing in vce?

Never heard of anything like this and this definitely doesn't happen. If this was possible you would get everyone exploiting it.

Possibly she is just attending all the spesh classes?

Yeah I dunno the full context behind the whole situation so I'm not completely sure about the details, though she made it pretty clear both classes will be treated independently and will both contribute to her aggregate score, or something along those lines, so I think she's gonna be doing more than just attending the classes. But I'm not 100% sure like I said, and I also might've partially misremembered or misinterpreted what she was saying, especially considering it was a few weeks ago. But from the sounds of it, it seems like she's getting an unfair advantage over the rest of the cohort to some extent... so that kinda sucks.
