How to approach these topics?

My teacher has given some prompts for RW, that along the lines of how does Hitchcock do or achieve X?.
For example, "How does Hitchcock create a world of limitation and fear in Rear Window?"
How would we approach this? What sort of arguments to use?
I was thinking a much more visual approach
 - Limitation by restricting vision and setting to within Jefferies apartment
 - Limitation - Jeff's vulnerability and cocoon (maybe the entrapment fears he relays with marriage)
 - a world of fear through suspense
