If asked for a suitable catalyst used in the production of Ammonia what should we write?
Three catalysts (the main one being Iron(III) Oxide).
Do we have to write all three? or should we just write the main one?
Thankyou =]

A porous Iron catalyst is used consisting mainly of magnetite (Fe3O4) with like potassium oxide and aluminium oxides in it. We will just need to say porous Iron catalyst for the exam though I think

I thought it was Fe2O3 that was used as the catalyst (according to my text book)

knowing VCAA, they will ask for a formulae
especially seeing as though they did not ask anything about the catalyst last year
