Hmm... this smells of troll. I'll keep a close eye on this user.
enwiabe:
He's a troublemaker, that one. Okay, back on topic now people. Enough of that... episode.

dun hate the ads.
sites like break.com and others (I forget), have such income from ads that they can pay their users who upload videos that get popular etc, and this attracts more users, and more ad revenue, all while the content is free to da public.
its plausible that note submitters may get money too in the future (providing enwiabe isnt greedy about ad money)
enwiabe:
The problem with giving money to submitters and this has been discussed very rigorously between myself and my business partner is this:
1) People taking advantage and submitting poor quality notes in greater numbers
2) The time needed to administrate and implement such a system
3) Plagiarism - people stealing other people's notes to make money off of them
4) The other inherent legal implications
There are plans to incentivise the system, the problem is in finding adequate ways of doing this. One idea I've been tossing around in my head are extra features for notes submittors. Or, in that same vein, if you submit a certain amount of good quality notes, you get an ad-free version of the site. But, yeah, we'll see. For now, my main focus is on getting the main site up and running and recouping the costs involved in making it. Also, if you have any ideas, feel free to put them on the suggestion board.
