does any1 know any REALLY good english language tutors out there? I am doing units 3/4 EL without having done EL 1/2 :-X

lol. without 1&2 you'll require a top notch eng lang tutor indeed. my abilities wont be able to cover that much depth of units one and two as i'll focus on units 3&4 + Exam materials. one recommendation i should suggest for a student that did not do units one and two, is YOU DO NOT NEED TO STUDY [sorry for the caps, its a strong point] the 'IPA' ( international phonetic alphabet ). that is good for essays but not essential for a raw 50.

IPA is somewhat part of the course. However it is not required, if you look through 2001-present exams there has not been any(IF i missed any then few) IPA related questions.
Top scoring essays still contain no IPA whatsoever nor do well answered questions require them. hence, IPA is not essential for any part of this course, stick with what you need to know, know it inside out.
