IRRC, most of the acceptance of offers stuff tends to happen online.

Just answered this in the other thread, and yeah Gloamglozer is right you accept it all online after you get sent a letter from Melbourne telling you how to do it etc. So I'm guessing you could get someone to do it for you if needed (just the online stuff), but you need to be there in person for enrolment day I think (can't quite remember but pretty sure theres one day you have to attend following your offer).

IRRC, if you want to go through that route, you need to appoint a proxy (requires you to sign some forms to VTAC)

Actually, it's way before O-week... (so possibly sometime in January). When I went through it, it was basically the uni just giving an introductory spew about what they do and a spew about the course... but you have to go there to confirm your enrolment. I'm not sure, but if you're overseas, you may be able to get your proxy to do it on your behalf.

As stated above, if you cannot attend the enrollment day, you may nominate a proxy to act on your behalf to enroll for you at the respective university.  If you selected the proxy option while filling out your VTAC application, you can still chance your proxy detail via MyInfo right now.
