kyzoo:
SLA scaled more than SL this year if the RAW score was more than 45.

iheartu:
If I completed SL in year 11 in 2009... does that mean I get scaled amongst the chinese students in 2009 or the bunch of students in 2010?

Your scaling for SL will be based on the scaling in 2009.  This is because the scaling is always based on the year you completed the subject.

However, /0 was complaining that his Methods score was scaled with this year's cohort, despite completing Methods in 2008.  So maybe there was a mistake there, perhaps?

Despite this, VTAC will say:

--- Quote ---VCE studies are always scaled in the year in which they were undertaken (this may not necessarily be in the year in which you receive your ENTER).
--- End quote ---

This is according to the ABC of Scaling pdf booklet.

Hmm Chinese SLA I know for sure was scaled according to this years. I am unsure of SL though.

It should have been scaled according to last year's cohort since you did it last year.  Maybe VTAC is lying....  :o
