I find that the 15 minutes that we're given to read through the questions are pretty useful. I use that time to plan out which questions I should tackle first and what my responses will be. If I wasn't given 15 mins to prepare I'd probably freak out in the exam room.

It'd certainly make it a lot easier to have 15 extra minutes in the English and Literature exams.  xD

Just being able to write down as we think, would free up a lot of brain power.

In Methods I had so much spare reading time. It didn't help that I had decided not to do any mental calculations.

Yeah i reckon, 5 mins is ok for reading time. But 15 is too long, in the end you just sit there waiting for them to say you can start. This is why when i do prac exams i dont do the reading time, just get straight to it.

But i agree with EvangelionZeta, it certainly does help for english.

Hahah yep but its highly unlikely that they will make it different, but i guess we can always hope. :)

I'm in favor of it being kept at 15, it's more time for people to become restless and agitated.

The extra shake tests your mettle. Besides, it's not a bad thing provided that you aren't the one panicking.

That's my way of giving a subtle heads-up, by the way.
