Reward for generating 'big' discussions?

dunno what reward would be, but hey.....
Wouldn't generating big discussions (50+ replies etc) be in the general interest of the site?

I think it would encourage

- OP making lots of useless posts to further the thread
- people starting really offensive threads just to get people talking

if i could get paid to post on vn id just creat more accounts and 50+ all my threads (i wouldnt b the only one tho :P )
