Revision unit 1/2 Questions

Hey,

Just doing some revision before starting Unit 3 and stuck on some questions.

1. Calculate the number of grams of solute required to make the following:
a) 2.5 L of normal saline solution (0.90% NaCl (m/v))
b) 50 mL of 4.0% MgCl2(m/v)

2. What is the concentration in percent (m/v) of the following solutions?
a) 20g KCl in 600 mL of solution
b) 32g NaNO3 in 2.0 L of solution

3. Calculate the empirical formula of each compound formed
a) 0.923 g of Na combines with H2 to produce 0.963 g of the compound
b) 1.58g of Cu combines with S to give 1.98 g of the compound
