Calculus 2

Hi all,

So I've been trawling the internets, including textbookexchange.com.au for the required textbook for Calculus 2 which, because Melbourne is so very kind, is unique to the school, and as such, I have been unable to find a 2nd hand version of Calculus 1 and 2 by Hass et al.

If there are any students in 2nd year or above that have this textbook and are willing to part with it for a fair price, please PM me, and I'll try and meet up with you on Monday, before my first lecture :)

Oh, and if there are others in the same predicament as me, feel free to post in this thread looking for someone who will sell a copy to yourself as well :)

Thanks,

Edmund

I was at the Calculus lecture the other day and they said Calculus 1 and 2 by Hass et al. was a compilation of a few books (custom textbook), so you wouldn't find a textbook second hand.

Are there no previous versions, or similar textbooks from last year?

I think the prescribed book last year was Calculus Early Transcendentals which no one really used, so they made a custom book

Thanks,

I would be happy selling you Calculus Early Transcendentals for $40 (but I'm flexible with pricing). The book is in mint condition, but it is not popular because it contains a lot of redundant information - you could say the book is too informative - having said that it contains all the information you need.
