VN on KLD

Following the recent KLD orientation (gathering) thingo, (and the fact that still no one knew each other, but that's okay), the "Young Scholar's Blog" (youngscholars.unimelb.edu.au) has been brought to the attention (hopefully), of some of these "young scholars" in year 11 and 12.

I was wondering, mainly to enwiabe, if anyone wants to write something about VN so i can "publicise" this site for the very "special" group of youths (as we were called).

If not, i shall write about this place myself, and i dare not put any promise on the quality of the language.

THAT IS ALL, but i do sense better times ahead =D

yeh

(btw i know a lot of these probably dont make any logical sense, i am feeling rather, abnormal)

Yeah thats a good idea. I promoted VN to a few people I met on the day (whether they signed up or not is a different question). This could be a good way to recruit new memers!

A place for VCE talks - www.vcenotes.com
www.vcenotes.com

not only that, its a place for high achiving VCE students, who can discuss things with some of the best and brightest of the last few years, as well as high ENTER hopefuls this year. The community, with open arms, is welcoming all discussions in general VCE (and the official numeric workings and policies), many subjects across the board, University discussions, as well as general discussions, including SCARY amounts of social-political/economical discussions.

and as the name suggests, vcenotes has a central notes system, where you can upload and share what you have, as well as access the notes people have already uploaded. However, this is a new site, and the community sincerely hopes that YOU could make a difference to help not only to everyone this year, but for the future that is yet to come.

A quote from the creator:

“Gone are the days when A+ notes and resources were only available to the privileged few. No longer do students have to pay exorbitant fees to have their questions answered outside of school. Our notes system contains pages and pages of notes contributed by students who have attained study scores of 45-50. If you are such a student and are reading this, we more than welcome your contributions! Even if you did not achieve high scores, all good quality notes will be graciously accepted. We have active forums and a chatroom full of current and past VCE students, waiting to pass on their advice and specific subject knowledge to you and to help you through this difficult time. The VCE wiki (viki) is currently being designed to empower you with knowledge about the system that becomes an integral part of your life over the course of two or more years.

In the interest of improving education conditions in Australia, the site is made FREE to all. To gain access to the site, all you have to do is sign up. VCE Notes is a student community designed to promote the notion of students helping students. The staff at VCE Notes aims to provide a streamlined, helpful service to all students. This year, 2008, is just the beginning of a state-wide educational improvement. Not only is this the best and most comprehensive resource on all aspects of VCE, it’s also entirely free and accessible 24/7. Sign up today to gain access to our full range of notes, forums and help. “

I have been a member of this community for a few months now, and I must say that everytime I have used it, it has been a truly enlightening experience. This is an advertisement, even though i hoped to just share this resource, but trust me, you will not regret it.

It's  the link that's the problem, not the site. You forget "http://"!

Just a question ......

"VCE Notes" seems to be similar to the VCE section of    http://community.boredofstudies.org/.
Are these two sites related? Similar questions appear on both sites.
