Exam 1 Graphs & Relations Answers
millstone:
can someone please explain why 7 is C?
Odette:
--- Quote from: "Nick" ---Can someone explain to me how it can't be E?
--- End quote ---
Oh i know......surprisingly I know something
You need to use the formula y=m * x^3 + c => m= rise/run= 1/3
Therefore you get y= (1/3)x^3, making C the correct answer
Using the points in Option C (1, 1/3), you get the right answer ...
If you want me to explain it further just let me know

Correct and then you test the points from the answers, making (1, (1/3)) correct which is C.
So the correct answers are:
Graphs and Relations
1. D
2. C
3. E
4. B
5. D
6. E
7. C
8. B
9. A

ohhh, i hope i quoted this thingy right haha
ok, graphs and realtions, q6) E?
why E? wouldn't it be B?
I stuffed up question 7 haha, woopsie, i didn't see that the x axis had already been transformed
did anyone find this years exams so much harder than expected
i cried afterwards
Odette:
It's E because he needs to make AT LEAST twice as many bottles of RED wine (x) as white wine (y)
Therefore its x>/= 2y
Ok ok im going now people, adios =]
