don't think there are for intro micro. even if there is, you wouldn't miss much if you skipped it.

@chocolate05-some subjects (including commerce) do have tutes the first week.

I did Introductory Micro last year semester 1, and there was a tute first week. It was mainly ice-breaker activities and we got given our homework for the for the first real tute the following week. So probably check it out on the LMS/Portal.

They'll most likely mention it in the first lecture... but if the tute is before the lecture bad luck? :(

It's immediately after. And the lecture is just a "subject overview", so probably not worth going to if there's no tute aftwards :S

according to the 2009 316-102 subject guide they had tutorials week one so most likely you'll have one too?

i found out through student portal mine start week two. sign in student portal, click on LMS on the bottom left corner (under the title learning tool). under 'my subjects' click on 316-102. on the left there will be a number of selections. click on 'subject information'. then under the 'subject guide' tab, click on Subject-Guide2010.pdf  read the whole thing! it should say within the guide whether or not you have a tutorial in week one or week two.
