y be sister age present

x = y-3 ...[1]

(x-3) = (2/3)(y-3) ..[2]

well while we are here, i will ask another question:)

x and x+1 are two consecutive natural numbers. 1/4 of the larger exceeds 1/6 of the smaller by 1. Find the  value of x.
