I've got the book in hard copy, but the ebook is like somewhere else.

Like somewhere else? It comes with it on a CD or something, doesn't it?

Nope.  No CD but I heard a guest speaker for Pearson mention an ebook somewhere on the Internet once you've registered something or some sort.  Sorry, I couldn't really remember.

I think it's an online eBook and you can only access it online by logging in. Maybe get login details off someone?

No I don't think it is.. and even if it is you can still find a way to download it, or site rip it.. I'll look into it I guess. I remember the guy saying that if you didn't want to carry the book but had your laptop with you for the day then this was the right option for you. I assumed he meant without an internet connection.
