1.  How do we sign into ChemCAL?  I can't find the sign in page for it.

2.  If we need to activate our ChemCAL account, this is the site but for some reason it's not working, right?

3.  Why is it such a bitch to Firefox 3?  (OPTIONAL question)

1. There's a link on the LMS, then click on the subject you're doing, then a box comes up and you sign in.

2. Hmm?

3. It works best in Firefox 2, IE7, sometimes in Chrome

1.  On my LMS, I click on "ChemCAL Online" and it just takes me to the home page of ChemCAL.  Perhaps I need to enable pop-ups?

3.  What browser do you use to get onto ChemCAL?

I might have to pop in tomorrow at the Labyrinth and ask the tutor on duty.

1. I think you don't have to login to see the home page of ChemCal

3. Chrome

Thank God I don't have a prac until Wednesday though.  Got time to fix this.

EDIT: I went today and asked the tutor on duty.  If anyone is having the same or similar problem this is a summary of what she said:

Because ChemCAL is really old, it will only work with Firefox 2 and Safari, which is what they have in the Labyrinth.  If you have a higher version of Firefox, then due to compatibility issues, you'll either have to downgrade Firefox, use another browser or come into the Labyrinth.

pretty sure they'll give you some leeway first prac. just tell your demonstrator that you had difficulty.

I did it this morning when I asked the tutor so it should be fine anyway.  But for those who did, I'm sure the demonstrators will give leeway since the people who had a prac on the first day of uni would have been given some as well.

If you forget or had problems, they will let you run to the labyrinth after your prac and do it (certainly that defeats the purpose of pre-labs)
