It seems kind of dead doesn't it... I'll make a '10 roll call, maybe that'll incite some posts.

Yep, but our teacher has a thing against Dreamweaver and therefore we have to do everything in notepad....

Really? It's pretty simple to learn I mean most of the tags are pretty self explanatory...

Would be worse if you had to learn some server side language or javascript or something more involved heh

Yeah & CSS also. I've never done any html coding before ITA, so I learnt it all from a guide the teacher provided us and youtube lol. It's the NCDesign HTML guide (google it) but in pdf form. We're also allowed to use it during the SAC so it's not too bad. HTML is fairly straight forward though, no one in my class is having too much trouble but yeah, still rather use Dreamweaver.

Wow you learnt HTML and CSS in 3 months? Do you guys have to have xHTML 1.0 valid code or any validation? Very nice work on that ;)

lol, well like you said all the tags are pretty much self explanatory. About the xHTML 1.0 valid code, have no idea what that is, so I guess not? I'll go google it and see what it is lol.

You started your SAC already? We were suppose to start last week but the schools network had problems, so doin it next term. Any tips? I see that most of the marks are for all the documentation stuff, I have no idea what to do with that, our teacher never showed us what to do lol. I've only been coding every class and never touched the documentation stuff, same goes for the rest of the class lol. What do you need to do?

I learnt html ans css out of boredem in year 7.. .its not too hard to be honest.. if i can do it in year 7 im sure your class can, its just that i havent heard of classes actually coding before rather than using dreamweaver. Just was surprised.

Hmmm, For us its a pretty even spread. Mark wise, Development is worth slightly more than the rest and testing is worth slightly less.

It's an IT SAC to be completely honest, it (is in theory) easy as piss. So i wouldnt worry about sucking. More worry about maximising your marks and getting a very high (if not perfect) score. Past that, not much more to be honest.

We're designing a website for a virtual team who are working on a spaceship.

You guys?

Yeah, I meant like the actual website is only worth like 20 marks out of a total of 50 (I think, cant remember exact marks). So you score more points for the actual designing/planning and testing parts.

We haven't started yet, so no idea what we're doing it on.

Also, can't you just like sneak the SAC onto your usb and do a lot of it at home?

So, how did you go today? Finished it? Is Development the coding part?
