*CRIES*

OMG, 37/40, Anyone else feel like they've been betrayed...............?

I've done more than 30 practice exams (exam 1 and 2's mostly exam 2's) throughout the year, and now THIS!

I was aiming for high 40's, now it feels like max i can get is maybe 46/7 with full marks on exam 2.

I know of 4 of the specialist kids who got full marks on this exam... anyone else killed it(40/40?)
I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who show a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, this is still the common denominator that separates those who live their dreams to those who live in regret.

LOL! I thought I would come in here to find someone with a mark worse than mine, maybe that's not possible :P

You both did well, seriously.

LOL!!! What on earth? Are you people being serious?

I only got a crappy 27/40 and I'm happy with that because I'm not even a maths person and the only study I did was yesterday.

You people should be rapped with those awesome marks!

As I said before, aiming high is great. However, you have to be realistic. Making 'stupid mistakes' is very likely to occur. Most of my practise exams I got 35 or 36/40 and for the real one I got 37 it seems. I was ranked in the top 3 in my school and my other 'high ranking ones' were all going on about how they would get like '50 easy', but I set myself the task of getting a 40, which is still a difficult mark to obtain (it looks like I should get it now though). Being... somewhat modest with predictions will help, for example last year I thought I'd get over 40 easily with business, but I ended up with 36. Anyway, this is a jumbled mess of ideas, so I hope you all get over the pain of disappointment and are able to focus on the next exam.

I'm not as happy as what I really wanted: 100%....

I don't know about you guys, but I spent all year in a fucking room trying to "perfect" my subjects to get into uni... and now this? It seems like my enter will be no where in the 98's now T_T...Thanks a lot life....

I was aiming for 40+ in my subject (music) as well, but ended up with 36 (I rang up vcaa shattered with my A+,A, A which gave 36...) stupid vce =.=

everyone keeps saying 36/40 is good
but the thing is i worked sooooo hard for this stupid exam
i neglected english language to study for this stupid exam
i did 11 practise exams
if you did that many prac exams and worked as hard as i did on making very good notes then you would also be pissed off
but thanks all the same for trying to make me feel better

Just wondering...
how do you all know what answers you put on the exam?
Was the entire exam 1 multi choice?
And did you write your answers down or something? Im tempted to call my brother and ask him if he did the same

You get to keep the booklet. And I'm assuming that most people circled the answer in their booklet, and then transferred it onto the answer sheet.

Oh ok.
I just called my brother. He said he got about 38/40.
Another question...
Does a maths institution or site actually release the answers or are whoever posts the answers just presumes they got them all right?

people post them and if other people get the same answer it genrally is right, becuase further maths isnt hard, the answers arent really debatable... also given that the majority of people on FSN are quite intelligent too.
