Why would you want to trace someone through a proxy? Can't really post any methods for doing this on a public forum unless of course you are serious and then you would just go to a lawyer and get him to request information from the proxy they are using requesting you need it for legal reasons.

You can't really do it.

Unless you own or can somehow obtain the logs of who accessed the proxy from whoever owns it.

Still, then you cant prove that say "bob" was on the one from the proxy on a certain website.

All you can establish was, bob was using the proxy and someone from the proxy was on a certain website.

Or so is my understanding.

[Still, all the above standing, its still probably illegal]
