hey well as title says i have a sac on Monday and we got the questions just not the data.
this sac is for bivariate data.
one of the questions say that we must uses explanations of how we used technology in at least 3 cases.
i am not sure how i can make these explanations, do i just sa,y eg with construct a scatter-plot- do i just say i used my calc or do i have to explain what i did on my calc.
by the way head of maths is a idiot and doesn't want to answer any questions related to sac.

Say how you used the "Stats" function of the calculator (bear in mind I'm only referring to the TI89 as it's the calculator I use :P) and how you GOT the answer.
For example, if you used your calculator to determine the median, Q1, standard deviation etc, state that the values for the variable "x" were entered in one list and the values for "Y" in another list. Then state how you calculated the information- such as using the varstats function or however else you got into it.

Hope that helps :P

Oh yeah. I forgot to add that. Just say the process you used on your calculator to get the graph up. STAT > EDIT > Enter data into L1 > blah blah

yea will do thanks, another question
it says everything to two decimal places except r2
although i do this with my linear regression formula but my cas calculators residual is off by like .02 to mine using 2 decimal places and i figured out it was because they used 4 decimal places how do i make them calculate the residual using 2 decimal places.please help
