i'm not quiet sure how to comment on slope

for example:

Gold Medals = -2.50 + 1.31 x Olympiad

how would comment if the intercept is negative or you just ignore it?
77.85.. is the number I better wake up to on the morning of December 13th

Its in the textbook Im preety sure...
I know its in the essential book, for sure atleast.

Dont have book on me though so I dont remember exact wordings..
But Its something similar to like "On average, for each rise in Olympiads, there is 1.33 (something - sorry dont remember at all) rise in gold medals, or something across those lines.

you would probably have to include what happens initially to get full marks, so:

initially the number of gold medals is (x intercept), and increases by an average of 1.33 per olympiad.

actually a better answer would be:
up until the (x-intercept) olympiad, the number of gold medals is zero, after which the number of  gold medal increases by 1.33 per olympiad on average.

Would it be something like, up until the 2nd olympiad (x-int), the gold medals received equal to 0, after which the number of  gold medal increases by 1.33 per olympiad on average.

haha finish off my sac tomorrow, and got a negative y-int for House prices against average earnings.

The gold medal tally increases by 1.31 each Olympiad.
