need to get here for a lecture

The University of Melbourne Public Lecture Theatre, Old Arts Building how do i get there? from city.

Basically, you can take any tram along Swanston Street.  The only trams you can't take are the ones that have "Queensberry Street" written at the top of the tram.  Other than that, any tram will do. 

The trams will stop at the "superstop" at UoM.  From there, you need to get to the Old Arts Building, which is pretty much in the middle of the Parkville campus.  Check the campus map for more details.  It's on G14.  Once you get there just follow the signs around the building and you should get there.  If all else fails, you can always pop into the student centre and ask.  :)
