that's awesome you've done the others, i didn't do anything yesterday and i am going to start chem revision in about an hour and do like three prac exams a day until exams, that's so manyxD i was thinking of doing a tsfx and tssm one today hah. try them i guess..

Just done a tsfx one, I hated it. It wasn't so hard but the answers were sketchy in areas IMO

i just did one then of these tssm/tsfx, it was quite easy altough it was long (out of 89 marks) it was the 2009 tssm, and yeah there were a couple of solutions that were too specific / didn't allow room for varied answers (such as the different mobile/stationary phase of TLC, or how IR can be used to differentiate between two different molecules - answer just says NMR><)

TSFX has quite a lot of errors.
E.G. they claim the oxidation number of Nitrogen in Ammonia is -1/3

Oh and biofuels - they are not 100% carbon neutral either.
And there was a titration one where they mistook an underestimate to be an overestimate.

It's designed to be harder than the average paper. Don't worry if you struggle with it or take a lot of time to work through it. It's important to be ready for some harder questions. I'm afraid a lot of us weren't last year.

Can someone please explain question 4 and 20 from CSE/IARTV 2010 for multi choice.

I especially disagree with question 20, but maybe I'm wrong.

And this shit paper ranks up there with the worst.  

Alternative A on question 20: '60 bases pairs of which 30 are guanine'

wow, that makes a great deal of fucking sense...
