Does anyone have any good summaries of the photonic transducers. Like stuff about their advantages and disadvantages, purpose and all that stuff. Thanks! :)

You should know the purpose - to transuce!
Photodiode; +faster response, -relatively small sensitivity
Phototransistor; -slow response, +higher sensitivity

Importantly they're both linear devices.

I believe the only elec>light transducer on the course is an LED;
LED; I (prop) to brightness, linear device.

LDR -> slow response in comparison to photodiode

I'm a pimp ass LED and I collect voltage off my hoes dem currentz but i only accept a certain amount that switch me on, me and my currenthoes get it on till the early morning.
A bottle of henny get them electrons flowin' i'm in the a-star team, 10 seconds later i'm shootin' out frikkin laser beams.
That henny real strong so i gotta stop that and i pass it to my cousin photodiode jack.

It's photo-diode jack in the C-I-R-C-U-I-T
Hanging in the LBC and I ain't no punk ass ohmic device with the straight I-V
I be in the back of the club in reverse bias, in the V.I.P don't need no I.D brrrrr
I got plenty of currentz but not enough lightz so i gotta grab some off my cousin, that LED device
But when I hit them lights my head startz spinnin', and the ears start ringing and and the currents start zinging
The more light i get turns out its directly proportional, to the rate that current flows

You know how it goes, its phototransistor with your sister, put so much current through her it'll give her a blister
Mister, you better speed up cuz my response rate is so fast that i don't give a fuk
You're out of luck because I have all them lights and amplify them so much that the current is like a paradigm

Da photonics set reprezent
