What is a B.Comm like?
lolbox:
Sorry, I know this question is VERY vague. I don't usually ask questions like this but ATM I have very limited knowledge on the content/opportunities gained from a Bachlor of Commerce.
Also, in terms of both education and job opportunities, is there a significant difference if I gained my B.Comm from ANU, Monash or Melbourne (provided my results were of similar standards at each institution)

Job prospects for a B.Comm graduate would be pretty good coming from any of those unis. But I'd take UoM over Monash anyday for a B.Comm. (just fyi i'm doing a B.Comm at UoM, so a bit of bias-but i think it's widely acknowledged that Commerce and UoM is better than Monash).
Job prospects really depends on your specialisation/major and the job market in that particular field at the point of your graduation. However, I think you'll find accounting is always in demand. Finance and economics prospects are pretty good aswell. Management and marketing I'm not so sure.
At UoM, core subjects include micro+macroeconomics and two statistics subjects.

I'm really enjoying Commerce, I think it's a very good degree.

monash, Uom or ANU, pretty much no difference where you go. Go to wahtever is most convinient for you, If you know specifically what major you want to do, some unis are better than others (eg. for act stud UoM=ANU>>>>>>>>>>>>Monash(conceidering next yr will be the 1st yr they offer it)) but for commerce generally, they're all pretty good unis and will get you a respected degree.

money wise. What do commerce grads typically get 1st year out - in all majors (accounting, economics, finance etc)
Also. What jobs can you get majoring in economics. Is it mainly advisory jobs?
