For a Big 4 firm, a graduate accountant will find their starting wage is around $35k.
This is a bit lower than mid-tier firms offer, but Big 4 usually give a pay rise of around $7k per year.
Mid-tier firms and banks usually have a starting salary of $45k, but the pay rises are much smaller.

TBH, i have absolutely no idea. When i asked about it at the age vce and careers expo, all i got was a "dunno.....come to open day and ask then" whihc wasn't very promising.......

Will the new Monash program be accredited by the IAA (and do you get exemptions from it?)

where did you find the big 4 starting is 35k source from? :O

Monash Commerce is great! Especially micro economics, financial accounting and finance. EXCEPT:management (accounting).
