i think i may have found a misprint in Heinemann

(1/1)

lanvins:
for those of u using heinemann on page 46 question 28 for f;  is the table suppose to say anhydrous calcium carbonate or is it anhydrous sodium carbonate as they have it, right?

i need it because i need to find the percentage of calcium carbonate in the sample

iamdan08:
Didnt you find the mol of calcium carbonate  in e(0.009330) then you can calculate mass of calcium carbonate (0.9339g) and so on?

lanvins:
yea but on the second line of the table it says anhydrous sodium carbonate rather than anhydrous calcium carbonate.

iamdan08:
Oh i see what you mean. I think you are right. That second line should say "mass of limestone  and watch glass.".
