I need help with explain so concepts:
what is the role of intrAmolecular forces in polymers and what effect it has on a polymer?
What is the chemical structure of a polymer?

~ Intramolecular bonds hold the polymer together. If they were broken, the polymer would be shattered into monomer units

~ Chemical structure of polymer depends on what polymer you are talking about.

More questions:
4.   Is nylon a thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer? Explain the observed properties and the structure of nylon that leads to its physical properties.

5.   Is urea-formaldehyde resin thermoplastic or thermosetting polymer? Explain.
