For general resources, see the resources thread:
Chemistry Weblinks & ResourcesThis thread contains decent-sized posts (some in threads on a particular topic, and some in threads for a particular user) on many 'confusing' topics, and many 'advanced' topics.
For the 'advanced' topics, explanations generally use some university level concepts, logic and methods. Unnecessary details are excluded as much as possible, and these explanations are for students who wish to gain an understanding above and beyond the VCE syllabus to help them achieve. Understanding these will definitely help you appreciate the science behind Chemistry. Be warned though, many of these concepts are very difficult, and may take a long time. So feel free to ask questions in the board (post them so the explanations can benefit everyone).

These links contain some of my better posts (and other posts that are very well written) in the last couple of months. Please expand on these and link posts that have helped your understanding.
Cheers, and good luck.
EDIT: Updated links. Thanks to
Burberry.
EDIT: Updated links. Note that, due to some forum software sorcery, the post numbers have changed, and so the links do not point to the post directly. You will have to read through the discussion to find the answers, which is a little more time consuming, but hopefully more rewarding.
