Divide up the polymer into monomers, then just draw out one monomer with the double bond in it.  Then compare to the multi choice for the answer. :)

ill take a stab and say
C, because the double bond on CH2 breaks to from an addition polymer
Not A, because the C doeesn't have 4 bonds connected to it
Not B, Because the end of the chain should be COOH3, not COOH2
Not D, Becuase the methyl chain doesn't break to join to the next monomer to form the polymer.

Hopefully my explanation is correct, only in yr 11 tho so maybe not :|
