How do scores work out?

(1/1)

aeroplane:
Hi, I'm currently in year eleven doing I.T Software Development units three and four and I would like to know exactly how much the SACS and final end of year exam impact my study score. I'm totally lost in visual basics so two of my practical SACS are probably going to end in C's while my other two theory SACS will probably end in the B+ to A region and probably score a B+ to A in the exam so my question is:

SAC 1: A
SAC 2: C
SAC 3: B
SAC 4: C

Exam: B+

What kind of study score would I be looking at if i scored similar to what I estimated above?

slothpomba:
Look on the VCAA website for the study summary and itll tell you how much your SACs are worth.

Also keep in mind your exams lift up your SAC scores, I got A A A (GA1- Semester 1 Sacs, GA2- Semester 2 Sacs & GA3 - Exam) and i got 37. My mate got A+ A+ B and got 36.

I also did software in year 11 :D

chopz:
ouch bad luck kingpomba, even with decent grades like that, im aiming for
high 40's.. so far in my SACs ive got A+ for semester 1 :D

slothpomba:
Yeah i know it was year 11 i didnt study at all for SACs or appreciate their significance ... i only did 1 trial exam... i should be suprised i managed to get a 37 doing that really

chopz:
very true, how u doin in IT APPS?,
im finding it much harder than software development...for some reason lol
