Quick Question

For Gas Chromatography which property will allow a molecule to travel through the chromatography column at the fastest rate?

 - Smallest molecules or molecules with the lowest boiling temperature?

Or it is just that the smallest molecules will always have the lowest boiling temp and I'm being a dummy?

Anyway, any help is appreciated

smaller molecules generally have lower boiling points as the dispersion forces arent so strong.

also remember, the larger the molecule, the more interactions it will have with the stationary phase, therefore an increased Retention time.
