Cheat sheet theory thread!

Everyone post something good to go on a cheat sheet!

Newtons laws of motions
N1L: Every object continues in a  state of rest, or uniform motion unless made to change by an unbalanced force(inertia)
N2L: Acceleration of an object is
directly proportional to and in the same direction as
the net force on it, and inversely proportional to its
mass. a = Fnet /m.N3L: Whenever an object applies a force onto a second object, the second object exerts a force of equal magnitude but opposite direction back onto the first object. Fab = -Fba

The theory of apparent weightlessness in space and at Earth is good to know :)

I just pasted a whole lot of textbook photonics theory...I think thats the most theoretical part of physics isnt it?

Yeah started doing mine today.
Sofar have just got a load of photonics theory about modulations/demodulation and all the difference components.

For motion ive got newton's laws, stuff about weightlessness, air resistance, stuff about force diagrams coz i suck at them and derived equations for planetary motion.

Definitions for all the structues stuff - toughness, strength etc.

Apart from that i plan to have examples of:
- Adding vectors
- Inclined plane + towing/tension
- Difficult electronics question
- A complicated torque/tension question with angles and stuff

Dunno what else. This is only like one side of an A4 lol

Chem is in so much more need of a cheatsheet than Physics ... there are so much more explanations in Chem than Physics

That is exactly what I've been thinking! And they already give us a 12? page data book...

If chem had a cheat sheet it would all be way too easy.

You think? Honestly I think it would make minimal difference. Many people are strapped for time as it is. What would you put on there that would be a massive help?

basically all of the 2009 exam aha.
but more seriously probably those questions to do with PH. my weak points basically. everyone has their own weak points. like I always get confused when they take aliquots and all that and diluting if concentration has changed but the amount hasnt etc. etc.

Its like I dont think people would be doing as good in physics if there was no cheat sheet.

In chem you could also put like IR charts and mass spec charts for basic molecules like ethanol etc that get tested often.

Haha I still...don't understand what I am meant to put on my cheat sheet.
