If you WANT to risk fingernailing, go ahead for it - But this is the official rule:
15. A student must not begin to write or mark his or her paper or response material in
any way, or use a calculator, until advised by a supervisor that writing may
commence.
I am pretty sure they are allowed to take the paper off you, and/or marking down by a grade. In reading time, taking the paper off you AND losing a grade = g.g.
And Im pretty sure there is a good reason to not have a calculator in reading time.
You could easily type in 2344341233 - Or something of the sort, corresponding with BCDDCDABCC
Personally this would be my strategy - start with short answer, and answer the Organic pathways question first - it's always the easiest to knock off. Then just work out in terms of difficulty. Im expecting the paper to be long, so at least if I dont have enough time I can guess the multis.
Multis in reading time - I dont like the idea. It makes it soo much easier to fall for every possible trap there is.
