We daydream while were're awake, but only aware of our internal thoughts so is it?

In my book it is an ASC but my teacher says their is some confusion about it and most likely wont be in the exam

an ASC is any state of consciousness that is distinctly different from NWC in terms of level of awareness and the quality/ intensity of thoughts, feelings, sensations or memories that are experienced. so yes it is

yeah but NWC involves being awake and aware of our thoughts...by daydreaming we choose what we think about
In the continuum its in the yello-bluish area.

i'm just gonna avoid it
