Hi guys,
Typical my luck a few days before the exam my calculator dies   :tickedoff:

Trying to work out what to replace it with - At the moment the best options appear to the the Texas TI-30XB and the Casio FX-82AU-Plus... i presume both of these are approved - there is no list as such from VCAA  :-\

So, which calculator do you use/prefer - let me know your thoughts

TI. Way better interface than any other I've seen.

Using a casio I've had since year 7. Changed the batteries for the first time last week though.

I saw my friends Ti calc during the week and had a play with it. I may make the switch for end of years. However, for now i'm just using the calculator I know inside and out, quite literally.

That was the original plan, turns out they don't sell them anymore - it was my calc from back in year 7!
Looks like I'll opt for the Texas Instruments one - seems to be the most popular.
Cheers Guys.

Picked up the TI-30XB today and I must say, I'm impressed!
The way it shows fractions alone makes those fiddly orbit questions so much easier to enter!

I use the Sharp calculator, although I'm buying two new calcs (another Sharp to replace my worn out one for the exam, and a TI to play around with for unit 4 given all the hype).
