Are we allowed to write in PENCIL on the exam?

I've been wanting to know for ages and haven't really gotten around to asking.

Yes.

Just make sure it's kinda dark because the exams will be scanned starting from this year.

I'm personally going to use pen.

Just make sure you bring a pencil for multi choice.

According to my teacher, it is strongly recommended that students use pens on the exam, with the exception of pencil for the multiple choice as ks04 have said above. Apparently pencil writing don't show up very well after it is scanned, leading to exam assessors getting annoyed and marking all of us down.

Just a thought.

You won't ruin a question, try and see what happens when u do trial exams in pen - it won't be that bad

Based on the previous years exams, there is always heaps of space for each question, just cross it out, and write next to it.
