How is everyone writing their short answer responses? Are they following some sort of technique (i.e. define the term then relate to question)? I keep making small mistakes in my short answer responses!

Thanks!

i usually like to define the term. You usually get the mark for it and it works well as it usually it is directly linked the concept so the concept can easily be talked about after

I seem to have it down ok.

Look at the number of marks allocated.
2 marks = definition + 1 piece of info/example

If the question mentions a person mention them in my answer.
Eg. Leisels sister was unable to detect a change in the lighting because Leisel had changed the light by a degree within her sisters differential threshold. Differential threshold or Just Noticeable Difference is the smallest perceptual change able to be detected in a stimulus, on average at least 50% of the time.

2/2 marks

On most assessors reports it says a large degree of people do not refer specifically to the question.
