Yes, what are the endpoints meant to be? Do they connect to another battery, or a device of some sort? Are they grounded?

No. Just as before. Conventional current flows from the cathode(the longer line on the DC source) and goes up to the junction. It then splits over the parallel section. It doesn't go up the dead ends, therefore it is identical.

EDIT: Assuming the end points aren't connected to anything.
