Does anyone know what the difference is between the Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and the Bachelor of Business (Professional Accountancy)?

According to their course guide Accountancy is 3 years full time and Professional Accountancy is 4 years full time but that's all i know, thanks :)

laynie:
Professional has a year of co-op work experience integrated into the program which is highly beneficial, hence it is 4 years.

cleo_xo:
oh okay thanks :)
does anyone know someone who actually takes the Professional Accountancy course and if they enjoy it?

how does the co-op work experience work? do you ahve to apply tocompanies or RMIT has them set up for already?

laynie:
I dunno, I don't go to RMIT but I got some friends at uni who transferred to Melbourne after a year at RMIT, they said RMIT have like companies which they have ties with and you can apply for them, you just have to go through the application process, or if you want you can search and apply for any other company on your own. They'll have to be willing to have you there for a year and  meet the co-op requirements though.
