Methods questions... in my specialist paper?

I'm just wondering, will methods questions appear on the specialist paper? I know probability is a no, but how about others? I can't think of anything more specific right now, but for those of you who have done methods and specialist, did it?
I've forgotten some methods stuff already (at least not as sharp) so it's a bit of a worry.

Thanks.

There is heaps of cross over. I also find that the difficulty level is very similar with those cross overs, granted, they are dealing with the same things (rates of change, functions). ALSO be warned that spech can go to methods! Last year exam 2 they gave a differential equation! Nasty buggers :)

nooooooooooo not really dear. It was just a nasty little question. In general this doesn't happen. Its just that the rest of the paper was stupidly easy, so they needed some little gremlin in there.

Second last part of the last question on exam 2.

Really, it wasn't very hard, even if it is technically Spesh material.

Yeah... im talking for normal people. 3/4 of the state failed, of the 1/4 who did it probably was more like 15-20% spechies.

Oooh, ouch that's mean. Wouldn't the spesh students find the methods paper entirely a bludge? :P

Only the trig and calculus sections, because those are the major crossover parts. I haven't done a single piece of work for either of those in methods this year.

The spesh question in the methods paper involved flipping something like
They basically told you what to do.

Also some spesh people may not have noticed but they put a uni maths based question on the spesh exam. It was the question about finding the distance travelled along the curve for a vector function. They gave you the integral to use and it was mostly just using the calculator. Basically they wanted to see if people could extend beyond what they have learnt
