Who has done From Plato to Einstein?

Hey guys,

With the majority of my breadth subjects I am doing finance subjects, but I have room to do something different and I am really wanting to do this subject, BUT... The lectures clash with other subjects (I.e. The Monday lecture clashes with my group theory lecture and the other clashes with my electromagnetism and optics prac). So I will only be able to attend 1 lecture per fortnight.

My question is 'are the tests done in the lectures?'.

oh I have no Idea... I'm an extension student, and all assesments are done electronically via turnitun! correct me If I'm wrong.

but yeah semester one I don Philosophy Great thinkers- 161-111 and that was really good especially with time-tables as classes went up to 6:15 even with HPS you can I'm enrolled in Monday lecture at 4:15-15 then Wednesday's tutorial is at 4:15-15 and Thursday is second lecture same time!

Hope that helped in some way atleast! lol

Omg wait, is Plato to Einstein Monday 1-2 as well?
Because if so - Melbourne Uni I officially congratulate you on your inability to schedule.  Just, entirely.
That would be the fifth subject? that Arts students can choose which is on at that time.
I have not spoken to an Arts student who does not have a clash at 1pm Monday.

Nope, like someone above said, they're 4.15 on monday/wednesday

I didn't do Plato to Einstein, I did a different HPS subject and the short written assessment pieces were always handed in online, via the LMS. If you're not sure, just email Kristian and ask

It's all fine now. I moved my lab around and now I can attend the second lecture, although group theory still clashes with my first lecture, if a test is on the Monday I can always attend the lecture for my breadth and get the group theory lecture notes off friends.

So far none of my subjects have online video lectures. But with lectopia I can listen to the lecture and read through the slides put up by the lecturer.

Most of my subjects don't even have the slides, they just have the lectopia audio :(

Ironically, the arts lectures always have the visual slides/mouse cursor

If you're using the recordings instead of attending lectures, I still maintain you're doing it wrong

I hate you!

(although I did find that listening to my breadth lectures on lectopia made it easier to study than attending the lecture so who knows)
