Well, you could still do any of the majors it's just that this way you can do extra subjects. Same for arts students i guess.

It makes a very big difference for me, because I transferred at midyear this will really help me get on track for my major much easier and quicker (and give me some more science electives :) )

Does this affect Actuarial students? Because actuarial students already do less breadth then others... due to accreditation subject requirements.

Spoke to an act major friend and he said it wasn't going to make a difference to him, they still get exempted.

So there's still only 1 real breadth subject every year (ie. elective breath, not compulsory)?
